Getting to know and signing up
You can register for a free, no-obligation 15-minute introductory meeting by phone or Zoom. We will get to know each other and briefly discuss your complaint/request for help. You can then assess whether you experience a sufficient click and I can see whether I can offer you the right help. If my help does not fully meet your expectations and/or request for help, I can make you a referral proposal, if desired).
If we decide that YourTime Therapy suits your need, we can plan an extensive intake.. Your problem will be further discussed, its history and your goals and wishes with regard to the treatment. Together we agree on the most suitable treatment method and which form of therapy (online, walking, or equi) suits you and your complaint.
Referrers
Are you a referrer and would you like to refer a patient? I can be found in Zorgdomein under the care request menu > mental health care > Adults > complaint 18+ > bggz > YourTime Therapy.
Prices for outdoor therapy and online therapy
Because I am a mental health psychologist, treatments for mild to moderate psychological complaints are payed through the ”basis verzekering”. You always have to pay your “eigen Risico” You need a referral from your GP and there must be a diagnosis.
The percentage that is payed depends on your insurance, usually between 60% and 100%.. I have deliberately not made contract agreements with Healthinsurance companies. Click more info information. I advise you to contact your Health Insurance to request information about your insurance restitutions. You can specify to your Health Insurance that this concerns uncontracted care from a psychologist practice. If you mention the codes CO0562 and CO0627, your Health Insurance can indicate how much you will be reimbursed per 60 minutes. I usually schedule appointments of 90 minutes.
At the end of the year you can switch Health Insurance and/or contract. If you enter treatment around this time, it may be useful to switch to a ”restitutie polis”. See here for more information about re”restitutie polis”.
I use legally established the rates as for psychological care (the 100% NZA rate). The rate depends on the duration and type of consultation. As a rule, I plan 90 minutes for a consultation. If we deviate from this by more than 15 minutes, I will adjust this on the invoice.
The established rate per one-hour session in 2023 is:
- Intake/diagnostics: €170.81 per session. (On average 2 of these sessions are required). As of January 1, 2024, this will be €183.44
- Treatment: €150.22 per session. (On average, 8-10 of these sessions are required). As of January 1, 2024, this will be €161.46
- Peer consultation with another practitioner (at your request and with your permission) at a time: €70.46. As of 1-1-2024 this will be €76.35
If you prefer sessions without compensation, the rate for intake conversations and treatment conversations is €120 per session (45 minutes). The same rate applies to substantive e-mail contact. This will be calculated per required quarter of an hour. For requests for a treatment meeting within 0-24 hours, a surcharge of €30 will be charged. There is no charge for an introductory meeting (15 minutes).
You will receive the invoice after the session/email contact. This must be paid before the next session. Treatments by NIP psychologists are exempt from VAT.
YourTime Therapy has not made any contract agreements with municipalities. There is therefore no possibility for reimbursement for children/youth.
Equineherapy rates
The rates above also apply to my (the psychological) part of this therapy. On top of this is the price of the horse coach (€85 per hour).
Canceling or rescheduling appointments
You can cancel your appointment 48 hours in advance by email or WhatsApp. If you cancel later, the practice will charge half of the consultation amount. This is not reimbursed by the insurer. If you do not keep a scheduled appointment, the practice will charge the full amount. This will not be reimbursed by the insurer.
Waiting times
The waiting time for intake is now (August 2023) between 2-4 weeks. After the intake, treatment is usually started within 3 weeks. You can always check this with me by phone, sometimes appointments are cancelled so the waiting time is shorter. If you find the waiting time too long, you can contact your health insurer and ask for waiting list mediation. The health insurer can support you so that you receive an intake interview within 4 weeks of your first contact with a healthcare provider, and that treatment has started within 10 weeks of the intake. The waiting time does not depend on your health insurer.

Complaints procedure
Are you dissatisfied with something, or do you have a complaint about my care? I would be happy to discuss this with you and look for a solution. If you are unable or unwilling to discuss your complaint with me, or if you would like independent support, you can contact the Healthcare Complaints Portal. Complaints Portal Healthcare is an external organization with which I am affiliated to help resolve dissatisfaction and complaints about my care.
If you have sent your complaint or dissatisfaction, the Healthcare Complaints Portal will assess whether it meets the conditions for handling it and which procedure is appropriate. If information is missing or unclear, they will contact you to complete it and ensure that the complaints procedure is started properly.
